Project Goals
From Inventory to Editorial
To bridge the gap between tedious data entry and effortless styling, the project needed to shift the product paradigm from an "inventory tracker" to a "lifestyle habit." This established three core design goals to guide the upcoming research and ideation phases:
Micro-Habits Over Mass Uploads
How might we encourage users to digitize their wardrobe organically over time, rather than demanding a massive, overwhelming upfront upload?
Time-Based Contextual UI
How might we design an interface that anticipates what the user needs based on their actual life rhythm and schedule, rather than just showing them a static database of clothes?
The Editorial Paradigm
How might we replace clinical, spreadsheet-like tags with an emotional, high-end experience that elevates the user's existing wardrobe and makes daily dressing feel like a premium service?
